Conferences – Articles

John Marneris has been a speaker at many Greek and international conferences, as below.

In addition, there have been over 30 publications of his articles in specialized journals as well as references to his innovative methods in Turkish and Israeli newspapers.

He has posted his works on the university platform of research scientists “Research Gate”.

The PARSANT method has been the subject of diploma theses of a significant number of students.

Main Conferences

  • The “14th International Conference on earthquake engineering” in Beijing China in October 2008.
  • The “3rd Conference in structural engineering” in Tel Aviv, Israel, in June 2013.
  • The “3rd National Conference on Seismic Engineering and Technical Seismology”, in Athens, in November 2008.
  • The “16th European Conference on Earthquake Engineering” in Thessaloniki, in June 2018.
  • The “5th National Conference of Steel Structures”, in Xanthi, in October 2005.
  • In 2013, Mr. John Marneris gave two lectures in Algiers, Algeria, presenting his study on a local Hospital based on seismic isolation. One lecture was held at the University and the other at the Greek embassy, with invited local bodies. There was also a poster presentation at the annual exhibition of building materials BATIMATEC.
  • In 2015, Mr. John Marneris attended seminars on seismic insulation issues, specially invited by the company “Fip Industriele”, specialized in the production of such systems, in Padova, Italy.
